Salem Community Church Basketball 2025-2026 Season Information

Welcome!

We are committed to building faith, teamwork, and character through Christ-centered basketball.

Our mission is to empower young athletes through the game of basketball by fostering Christ-centered values and creating a spirit of fellowship and community. We strive to develop character, discipline, and leadership on and off the court, while glorifying God in all we do.

This season, we are offering teams for grades K-1, 2-3, and 4-5! 

Grades 4-5 season will be October 20, 2025 thru December 20, 2025. 

Grades K-1 and 2-3 will be January 3, 2026 thru February 21, 2026.

All basketball events will be held in the Salem Community Church gymnasium. The entrance is on the right side of the church, down the hill. Practice entrance will be through door entrance D. Game entrance will be the door under the covered walkway to the left of door entrance D.

Cost

$70 (includes jersey)

Payment due before or on evaluation day

Registration

Pre-registration for church members will be available one week before it opens to the public.

Public registration:

Grades 4-5: September 1-15, 2025

Grades K-3: September 29 - October 13, 2025

Registration will be via Google Form accessible on our Facebook page or by clicking here once registration opens.

Evaluations and Parent Meeting

4-5 grade: September 21, 2025

K-3 grade: October 25, 2025

Your athlete will receive a specified time slot.

We will be hosting player evaluations to ensure a balanced skill level across all teams. During this time, parents will also attend a meeting to review procedures and expectations.

Practice

Teams will practice once a week. Practices will be held on Mondays or Tuesdays at 5:30p and 6:30p.

Games

Games will be held on Saturdays

We will have a 6 game, regular season

Season will conclude with a “Championship Week” - one practice, semi-final games, and final game.
