Basketball 2025 Season Information

Welcome! We are committed to providing a safe place for children to discover and grow in Christ through team sport fellowship!

This season, we are offering teams for K-1 and 2-3 grades! *player must be 5 years old by January 1, 2025

All basketball events will be held in the Salem Community Church gymnasium. The entrance is on the right side of the church, down the hill. A welcome team member will be available to help direct you to the appropriate door as well as signage.

Cost —

$60 (Includes Jersey)

Registration —

• Pre-registration for church members opens October 13

• Public registration will open October 28

• Registration will close on November 10

Evaluations and Parent Meeting

Saturday, November 16 — Times TBD

We will be hosting player evaluations to ensure a balanced skill levels across all teams. During this time, parents will also attend a meeting to review procedures and expectations.

Practice

First practice will be January 4, 2025 for every team

Practices will then be once a week (Mondays or Tuesdays) for each team

Games

Games will begin Saturday, January 11, 2025

We will have a 6 game season:

• January 11, 18, 25

• February 1, 8, 15

Championship Week: Practice Feb 17, Games on Feb 18 and 22
