Discipleship is made up of ingredients. Some of those ingredients are ongoing life groups for community, seasonal Bible studies to grow in the Word, and various specific ministries based on a personal need. All of which are of necessity! You can get information and register for what is currently available at Salem.

Personal time in the Word

How do you get to know someone? You spend time with them. God is constantly speaking and your relationship with Him is a lifelong journey getting to know Him and letting Him know you. Read the New Testament with us and get to know God.

Before you start reading, pray these 5 prayers:

  1. God, give me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

  2. Let any knowledge I gain help me love You and others more, and not puff me up.

  3. Help me see something new about You that I’ve never seen before.

  4. Correct any lies I believe about You or anything I misunderstand.

  5. Direct my steps according to Your Word. Amen.
